The cheapest erectile dysfunction (ED) pills are generic Viagra, called.
The term "generic" refers to the active ingredient of a medicine or drug rather than to the advertised brand name under which the medicine is sold. It is a term referring to any drug marketed under its chemical name without advertising.
Pfizer made the originaltablet that is often referred to as the “blue pill”.The patent expired in 2013 which then allowed other pharmaceutical manufactures to make a generic version under the name of the active ingredient called Sildenafil. They are exactly the same medically and perform in the same way with the same side-effects.
As with most branded products, Viagra is sold at a higher price, therefore the generic tablets sold asare much cheaper.
Medically there is no difference between a generic medicine and the branded medicine, as they both have the same active ingredients to make them perform in the same way. They only differ in the “bulking” agents used to fill the tablet as the amount of active ingredient required, in this case Sildenafil, is very small. This makes the tablets bigger and easier to handle.
The main difference between generic andbranded named prescription medicines is cost with generics being much cheaper
Every pharmacy can choose what price they sell at, as there are no fixed prices. It will depend on what price the pharmacy can buy the drug from the wholesaler and the cost of their own overheads. They can they decide what mark-up they require and some pharmacies choose to sell some products at higher prices.

You will then know and have the confidence that all the brands being offered are genuine and will work in the same way. All the pharmaceutical companies are inspected by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) to ensure they manufacturer the drugs to the same quality standard. This means that the key ingredient that is referred to as the “active” ingredient is exactly the same in all brands.
The other inactive ingredients that make up the bulk of the tablet are called “excipients” and can vary.
For those people who are allergic to or have an intolerance to lactose, then the is ideal for you as it is lactose free. You can check the additional excipients on the patient information leaflet supplied with your tablets.
Although medically all the generic tablets are identical, they may look different as they can vary in colour, shape and size due to the varying excipients.
The patent for, owned by Pfizer, expired in July 2013, which then allowed other pharmaceutical companies to produce generic. There are a number of companies now manufacturing which include Accord, Ajanta, Dr Reddy’s, Mylan, Teva, Torrent and Zentiva. Even Pfizer make a that they sell cheaper than Viagra although generally more expensive than the equivalent generic brands.

Q. What is the difference between generic and generic named after?
FDA:
A new study in the U. S. has found a drug that was once used to treat erectile dysfunction in men is being marketed as Viagra.
The drug, called Cialis, has become available in the U. under the brand name "Viagra."
In a new study, U. Food and Drug Administration researchers analyzed a database of more than 1.2 million health claims, with the drugs being sold in 50 different countries, including Australia, France, Spain, Italy, Netherlands and Spain.
The drug is also available to treat an enlarged prostate called, which affects as many as one in three men.
The results of the study showed that patients taking a daily dose of the drug had lower rates of erectile dysfunction than patients taking other drugs that can lower their blood pressure.
"We conclude that this drug is effective in treating erectile dysfunction in men," said study author Dr. Stephen W. Schondelmeyer, MD, a urology professor at the University of Virginia School of Medicine.
"We're now trying to see if it could be a good treatment for these problems," Schondelmeyer said.
While the study does not show any significant differences in the rates of erectile dysfunction between men taking different drugs, the researchers said the drug could potentially help men who are suffering from ED who are not taking the medicines that are commonly prescribed for it.
"The FDA should be concerned that the drug could be used as a treatment for ED if it is used as a treatment for other conditions," said Dr. Stephen Schondelmeyer, a urologist at the Mayo Clinic and the lead author of the study. "I'd also hope it's a possible drug to treat other problems that may be related to ED."
The study did not include information about other medications that can also lower blood pressure, including some drugs used for heart disease.
Researchers did not know if patients taking the drugs could also be prescribed nitrates, a type of medicine used to treat angina, or other drugs that can lower blood pressure.
"The FDA is concerned about the safety of nitrates in patients taking nitroglycerin in combination with sildenafil," Schondelmeyer said.
In addition, he added, "We are concerned about the potential for adverse events associated with the use of sildenafil. If you take any of these medicines, you could have a very serious adverse event."
The research was funded by the National Institute on Deabetic Cancers' (NIC) National Institutes of Health. The researchers are using an anonymous online database to gain insights into the effectiveness of a drug that was originally tested for treatment of ED, Cialis.
In its letter to the FDA, the company warns that the drug was originally tested in men who had erectile dysfunction and was able to achieve that.
"However, we are concerned that this drug could also be used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and diabetes, which are conditions that can be caused by the drugs that are commonly prescribed," the company said.
"We are also concerned that the drug may cause a serious adverse event, such as stroke, which may require treatment," the company said.
The researchers said the drug may also help men who suffer from a heart condition called atrial fibrillation, which can affect both the heart and the arteries of the lungs.
"This drug may also be used to treat erectile dysfunction in men who are at risk for this condition," the company added.
A spokesman for Pfizer said that the company is aware of the study and has not received any adverse events related to the drug.
In its letter, Pfizer also noted that the company did not have an official statement on the matter. "We are concerned about the safety of the drug in patients taking any of these drugs," Pfizer wrote.
The company's spokeswoman did not respond to a request for comment.
FDA officials said the results may not reflect the actual findings in the new study, which has not been reviewed by the agency.
FDA spokesman Eric Schondelmeyer said the company did not know whether the drug was used to treat erectile dysfunction. The company did not immediately return calls or emails seeking comment.

asthma without medical supervisionViagra occurs when a man is unable to swallow, chew, or use a drug product without first consulting with his doctor. This is why some products are available only with a doctor’s prescription.
Viagra contains the active ingredient sildenafil citrate, which is a type of drug called a cGMP-valerian inhibitor. It works by relaxing the smooth muscles in the throat, allowing for easier swallowing, and allowing for increased blood flow throughout the body.
Viagra is prescribed to treat ED (Erectile Dysfunction) in men between 18 and 64. Men who take Viagra should be aware of this inhibitor, and inform their doctor as soon as possible if they become sexually aroused or experience an erection that lasts for more than 4 hours. Additionally, some Viagra include a warning that it could increase the risk of priapism (prolonged and painful urination), which can cause damage to penis.
Viagra contains the active ingredient sildenafil, which is a drug class of medicine called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors. These inhibitors work by increasing blood flow to the penis, which causes an erection. Viagra includes these inactive ingredients:
